About Vhandham
My love for the dog world began when I was just seven years old, breeding Australian Silky Terriers under my parents’ prefix.
My interests then moved to Rottweilers, Dobermanns and Staffordshire Bull Terriers, until 11 years ago when my love affair with the American Staffordshire Terrier began under the Yankstaf Prefix, founding the first affiliated American Staffordshire Terrier club in Australia in the late 1990's.
In 2000 my foundation bitch Gr Ch Isis Nthin Lieca Dane (Dana) became Australia’s first American Staffordshire Terrier Grand Champion, at the tender age of 3. The years that followed have seen two more Grand Champion’s and over 20 Australian Champions titled.
The successes include Best In Show win with gr Ch Bellamon Larkota and many Runner Up In Show wins, Classes in Show and in Group and over 70 combined Best in Group wins - which include handling the first for the breed in NSW, the first handler and exhibitor in the ACT and the breeder of the first Best in Group in WA. My dogs also have 7 Best of Breed Royal wins.
After a five year involvement with the Dogue De Bordeaux breed, titling numerous exhibits to their Australian titles, including helping with the first brother / sister combination of Grand Champions, winning many In Group and In Show awards and also handling four Best of Breeds at 3 different Royal Shows, I became the proud owner of Chienparadis Enrique.
I have since welcomed his sister Miella into my home and more recently the beautiful Scharnelle Demii Sorrelle and Shakyra with our new baby Grub Chienparadis Chantilly Lace to hit the show rings soon.
